Billion Dollar-o-gram is a visualization of the relative size of expenditure, that gives a context to these massive amounts. In the top right corner you can see the total cost for the Iraq and Afghanistan war, look in the bottom left of that block and you see the orginal estimate. It is a tool that instantly depicts concepts that would otherwise remain hidden within the
raw data. The entire bottom half is the cost of the latest financial crisis.
